Perth Airport is set to be the location for a new designer fashion outlet centre, offering exclusive brands at up to 70 per cent discount to shoppers.
The $150 million Direct Factory Outlet shopping centre, to be located on Dunreath Drive, will house 120 stores offering international designers, premium apparel, mainstream fashion, childrenswear, lifestyle and homewares, sports and adventure.
The centre will also offer dining options, a playground and parking for more than 1500 cars.
The project, unveiled on Thursday, is jointly funded by Vicinity Centres and Perth Airport Pty and is set to open in 2018.
Once completed, the owners claim the DFO will create 650 direct retail jobs and more than 450 indirect jobs, including additional jobs during the construction phase.
