Design and construct project, the construction comprised of a workshop, inclusive of amenities and large office space for the Perth Airport Pty Ltd, the tenant Siemens, also had a integral role in the design with all of their requirements being integrated early in the process, the building has been designed to meet their needs to service the mining sector.
The building has a floor area of CIRCA 3500m2. The structure of the building is steel framed with a combination of ‘tilt up’ and ‘pre-cast’ construction methods used. There is a large adjacent carpark with space for deliveries, staff and visitors. The building is also equipped with wash bays, painting booth & gantry cranes. The design allows the end user (Siemens) to complete maintenance on the equipment it is serving from the mining sector throughout the southern hemisphere, whilst running the controls fully ‘in-house”.
